Foreign Policy
Your candidate, Ryan Kimble, has some opinions on the foreign policy he would like to share with you. Foreign policy is the government's strategy in dealing with other nations. Kimble and the A.I.M. campaign believes in the interaction with other nations is the best way to keep peace and benefit the most. The United Nations are also something we believe in here at A.I.M. Campaign, and that we should be able to express how our country feels without being discriminated for it. The United Nations is reinforcement for our country when we go to war. It was a replacement for the League of Nations that had been a failure to us.
When they came up with the United Nations, they had one mission in mind, to keep peace and security throughout the states. The A.I.M. Campaign thinks that with the help of the United Nations, we can stop many pointless wars. A way the United Nations could help us would be during war with pulling out troops, and other issues we may need support on during the war. Pulling out troops while they are involved in wars would make the United States lose more wars, but it would be better for our country. In past wars the United Nations has not been much help and has failed to support us. The A.I.M. Campaign would like to change that and make it easier for us to access help in a time of need. Kimble thinks that with this support it will save us from going further into debt. Previous wars have put us into debt because we had to pay for help getting our troops back and out of places.
In 1968 there was a hijacking situation by a Palestinian terrorist organization. All that the United Nations did at this time was condemn this action, there was no punishment put on these terrorists at that time. The next major attack was on 9/11 when terrorist attacked New York and the Pentagon, this was when the United Nations started taking action for these crimes. They punished these terrorists for their actions. Unfortunately though, the only terrorist groups it applied to was Al Qaeda and Taliban, so all the other terrorist organizations were not affected.
Interaction with other nations has always been good for the nation but more so for the economy. Influences are placed on each other because of this which will benefit us all. Interaction with other countries helps us gain knowledge of things happening around the world. It's important for us to know about things that are happening as a precaution, if one country is attacked we should make sure that we have military forces ready incase they need help, or incase we are attacked next. Another reason would be to avoid these wars and attacks by talking things out and solving problems without harm.
In conclusion, if the United States started interacting more with other nations and cut down terrorism acts by punishing them more, the United States would be a better place. If you were to vote for our president, all of these things are going to happen. Terrorist acts have to go, and they have to go quickly. If we get the support that we need from other nations by interacting with them, we can cut down the amount of attacks by talking issues out.
